La
Candelaria is best known for its inhabitants, many of
which claim to have special healing powers. Witchcraft
has always been a very prevalent part of this old
community, so don't be surprised if you see a few
strange sights during your visit. La Candelaria Village
is also home to a number of small gardens, all of which
are cultivated and cared for by the local people. On
this guided expedition you will enjoy the beauty of
nature driving through the desert, mountains, canyons
and wide riverbeds. After visiting La Candelaria we will
also stop in beautiful Migriņo Beach where you'll have
fun in the sun, with plenty of time to ride on the white
sand beaches. From Jan through March you may even see
migrating gray whales off the coast. |
